Very informative. Maria was helpful in letting us know what we would be doing and what to look for. As we toured around she pointed out things that we should be looking at and for. Although the meet up was not designed to be a technical session she was able to answer questions that came up and provide suggestions for moving forward.

This is the time before the Covid pandemic hit Canada so badly, and I just finished my photoshoot and London Music Hall. The first snow was there and I passed the alley and thought Tripod and snow and me can be a good combination and then the picture was taken.

I live near the water. As I worked in my garden, this eagle landed near the water's edge. It stayed long enough for me to grab my good old Cannon Rebel and I was able to capture several images with my 200mm lens. The bird seemed to have no fear of me. I moved slowly peacefully towards it and I ended up about 25' away. I did not want to scare it, so I only captured a few images. When I had finished, the bird remained here for quite some time. It was an amazing experience. I did crop the image to

The Ontario Raptor Conservancy came to Fanshawe with some of their resident Birds of Prey, allowing for some amazing close up shots of birds usually seen from a distance. I learned that the chicks get to be full size by 4 months of age, although their colouring continues to change for up to 5 years until they are adults. That same day I was able to see an adult and juvenile in the wild, perched in the same tree, from a distance. Taken in full IA mode with a Lumix Fz330

I took this photo while out on a morning walking tour. It's a picture of one of many industrial buildings in downtown london some with large advertisements on the side walls. The building seems full of character. Like it has many stories to tell. It just caught my eye. This part is true and somewhat embarrassing. I took the picture in 2020. Using a somewhat 20 year old canon rebel xs. With a canon efs 18-35 mm lense. One of a small series of images. Thank you. Paul.

Shot this picture on my Canon EOS R, with my recently acquired Sigma 14mm f1.8 lens. It was captured at f/1.8, 1600ISO and 8 sec exposure.Having worked in Northern British Columbia and out of town for nearly 10 years, I became accustomed to the spectacular northern lights shows it had to offer! So I finally made the plunge in the last 6 months and got myself a real camera, and just last month picked up the new sigma lens. After getting off a 10 hour work day, I had a quick bite to eat fo
